The short version: aggregate analytics only — your answers and scores stay in your browser.

What we collect
Weekly Quiz is static files: there are no accounts and no forms that store data. Your quiz answers and scores are computed in your browser and never transmitted. We do use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage — see the analytics section below.
Server and CDN logs
Our content delivery network records standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and capacity purposes, retained briefly under the CDN provider's own policy. We do not use these logs to profile visitors.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QQJ9SVRWXE) to measure aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, from which regions, on which devices. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes IP addresses under Google's own privacy policy. We do not send it your quiz answers or scores, and we do not use it for advertising. You can block analytics with any standard content blocker or Google's opt-out browser add-on; the site works identically without it.
Third-party resources
Pages load web fonts from a privacy-respecting font CDN and the Google Analytics script described above. No advertising scripts are embedded.
If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it. Addresses are never sold, shared, or added to lists.
Children
The site collects no data from anyone, children included. Several categories are written to be family-safe; parental discretion applies to news-based rounds.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be dated here and noted on the blog.
